About YC x Design
YC x Design brings real project management discipline to your renovation.
I'm not a contractor, and I'm not a decorator. I'm a certified PMP with fifteen years managing complex projects, now channeled into being your renovation project manager and design concierge, the person curating your build from the first decision to the last. I bring vision, vendors, and velocity together so your project gets done on time, on budget, and looking like the home you actually wanted.
Why YC x Design Exists
Fifteen years of orchestrating big, complicated projects, pointed at the one that matters most: your home.
YC x Design exists because a renovation shouldn't become a second job. Homeowners are brilliant, capable people who end up stressed and lost, not because their projects are impossible, but because no one is orchestrating them.
Every engagement is led by founder and Project Director Yolanda Caissie. She spent fifteen years managing complex projects for large companies: the budgets, the timelines, the dozens of stakeholders, the discipline of keeping something big on track when everything wants to pull it off course. Renovation and design have been a personal passion long before they became a career: an eye for how a room should feel, not just how it should function, paired now with the project management discipline to actually make it happen.
That discipline is what YC x Design brings to every renovation: the same four-phase method, the same documentation rigour, and one person accountable for the outcome, whether it's a kitchen refresh or a full teardown and rebuild.
YC x Design is currently serving as owner's representative on a full residential teardown-and-rebuild in Etobicoke.
